Crafted from precious ebony wood, it is polished till it achieves its beautiful shine and carved to a hyper-feminine shape. It is then covered in the more fragile raffia to further accentuate its femininity. The classic wide hips of the African woman are celebrated here and is a great tribute to the women. Found in almost every Ghanaian home, it is really a national treasure.
